Pizza Express

Welcome to Onni Interactive! On the left, you can find the list of all games made (or being made) by Onni Interactive. Yes, it still is hilariously short, but hopefully it'll slowly grow bigger and bigger. However, as some wise people say, "better quality over quantity"!

Onni Interactive is a one-man indie studio led by Simone "SimonLuck" Bellon, founder, developer, translator, dude, et cetera, et cetera. In the paragraphs to come, I will try to briefly introduce myself and what is Onni Interactive about, hoping not to make you bored too much.

I was born in Turin, Italy on May 31st 1995, which means I'm still not that old. I live in Nichelino, near Turin, and I develop videogames. Or at least, I try to. I'm by no means an expert, but I'm not a complete beginner either. My language of choice is Game Maker Language, also known by its acronym GML, but I hope I will soon learn new and more powerful languages. I'm a self-taught programmer, and my first attempt at making videogames dates back to 2005 or so (if not before!) with Game Maker 4. Of course, since I was such a genius kid, I couldn't understand a duck at first, but after many years of trial and error, I finally managed to make something acceptable: Pizza Express, a fast-paced restaurant sim for Windows, with musics and graphics reminiscent of the late 80s-early 90s, an era that I absolutely love for giving players many great games, often horrendously difficult but amazingly rewarding and fun to play. Because y'know, challenges are cool!

Moving onto Onni Interactive, I would like to spend a few words on the name I chose for my studio. The word "Onni" comes from the Finnish language, which I learnt after 10 intense months in the lovely city of Jyväskylä, in Central Finland. "Onni", in my eyes, is the most beautiful word I know in any language (and that means I don't know that many languages...), because it means "happiness" and "luck" at the same time.

Because I'm SimonLuck (heh!), Onni just suits me. And because my objective is to deliver a moment of happiness through to my games, well... Onni Interactive was born!
